Also, if you are watching the Stream of a game on Steam or Twitch you can cast your screen to help the interested people or friends to watch that stream.

There can be several reasons for audio not working issue on Discord Screen Share. Some of the possible causes are:
Discord Screen Share feature problem:
Initially, when the Discord Screen Share feature was introduced it was very faulty and was later fixed after a massive update. So, if you are using the older version on Discord then you will face the Discord screen share no audio issue
Faulty audio drivers:
Just like other applications, Discord also uses Audio drivers to transfer audio. So if the audio drivers installed on your system are misbehaving or faulty you may not be able to share audio while using Discord Screen Share.
Administrative access:
Some of the Discord features require administrative rights to run efficiently. For eg: Discord shares your entire screen with the other users when using the Screen Share feature and this might require Administrative access. How to fix Discord Screen Share audio not working issue:
Before jumping on to any of the solutions restart your computer and check if the error is resolved. If the error persists then follow the below solutions to fix the Discord Screen Share no audio issue.
Run Discord as Administrator:
The Discord Screen Share feature requires administrative rights to work properly. So if you are using the Screen share feature to cast screen you must run Discord as Administrator otherwise you will face the no audio issue. To run Discord as Administrator follow the below steps:
1} Go to search and type Discord and then click on Run as Administrator.
2} If you have saved the Discord application shortcut on Desktop then drag your mouse pointer over the Discord application and right-click on it and click on Run as Administrator.
3} You will get a pop-up click on yes to successfully run Discord as Administrator.
4} Now run the Discord screen share feature again and check if the error is resolved.
Add Discord Activity:
Discord can automatically detect which activity you are currently performing and acts according to it. So if you have multiple tabs opened then the Discord application may get confused. for eg: If you have opened game and movie in two different tabs then Discord can get confused whether you are trying to share a game or movie.
In such cases, you can face no sound error while sharing a screen on Discord. To fix it you will need to add the application as an activity in Discord. Here are the steps to do it:
1} Open the Discord application and go to the user settings by clicking on the gear icon at the bottom of the screen.
2} Next click on the Game Activity option from the left navigation pane.
3} Now to add your application as an activity in Discord click on Add it (as shown in the figure below). Now click on the Dropdown arrow to see all the applications running in the background. Tap on the application whose screen you want to share and click on Add game
4} If adding an application as the activity does not solve the Discord no audio issue then enable the game overlay and check if the error still exists. To do it go to user settings >>Overlay >>Enable in-game overlay.
Enable and use Push to talk:
Usually, Discord automatically detects if there is any audio activity and transmits it over the internet. However, if Discord is not able to transmit data automatically then you can use the Push to talk feature to overcome that challenge.
In this method, you will need to press and hold a specific key to record and transmit the data over the internet. You can use this method to fix the Discord no audio issue until it gets fixed permanently in an update. To enable the Push to talk feature on Discord follow the below steps:
1} Click on the gear icon beside your username at the bottom of the screen to open the user settings page.
2} Next, click on Voice and video option and click on the Push to talk option to enable it.
3} After that you need to set a key that you will hold to record the audio. To do that click on the Keybind settings option.
4} Next, click on Add Keybind. A new option will be added, in that under the action tab click on the Dropdown menu and select the Push to talk option.
5} Next, tap on the Keybind tab and press any key that you would like to add as the key to use the Push to talk feature.
Allow Discord to access the computer’s microphone:
Most of the time the Discord Screen Share no audio working issue is caused because the application does not have access to the computer’s microphone. To grant access follow the below steps:
1} Go to search and type Microphone privacy settings and hit enter
2} Next, Enable the “Allow apps to access your microphone” option.
3} Now relaunch the application and check if the error is gone
Reset Discord voice settings:
If you tried the above methods but you still face the no audio issue on Discord while sharing screen then it is because you have improper voice settings. This can be fixed by resetting the voice settings from the Discord application. To do it follow the below steps:
1} Open the Discord application and go to user settings.
2} Next, click on the voice and video option from the left navigation bar.
3} Scroll down to the bottom of the page you will find the Reset voice settings button. Click on it.
4} You will get a warning popup click on Okay to successfully reset the voice settings.
5} Now try using the Discord Screen Share feature and check if the no audio issue is resolved.
Reinstall Audio Drivers:
Drivers are the middleman that connects the hardware installed on your computer with the operating system and the application installed on it. The miscommunication between the hardware audio components and the operating system can cause the Discord audio not working issue.
To fix this problem we will have to uninstall and then reinstall the audio drivers. Also, we will need to update the audio drivers to their latest version. Here are the steps to reinstall audio drivers to fix the screen share audio not working issue.
1} Open the run prompt by pressing the key combination Windows + R and in that type “devmgmt.msc” to open the device manager.
2} Next, Double click on the Audio inputs and outputs option
3} In that, right-click on the microphone component and click on Uninstall device. Repeat the process for the Speaker/headphone component also.
4} Lastly right-click two times anywhere on the Device Manager screen and click on Scan for hardware changes. It will automatically install the missing drivers.
5} If the error is still there then try updating the driver to its latest version. To do it right-click on the component and click on Update driver
Clear Discord Cache/Roaming Data:
The applications use Cache and Roaming data to store user data and temporary operations for fast computing. A corrupt cache or Roaming data can also be the reason for Discord’s no audio issue. To fix the error you will need to delete the cache files. Here are the steps to do it:
1} First, fully close the discord application using the Task Manager.
2} Next open the run prompt and type “%appdata%” and hit enter.
3} Now search for the discord folder and right-click on it. Next, click on delete
4} Lastly, restart your computer and after the computer fully boots up launch the Discord application and check if the error is gone.
Uninstall and Reinstall the Discord application:
If all the above methods do not help you solve the Discord Screen Share no audio issue then another thing that you can try is uninstalling the Discord application and Reinstalling it. To reinstall the Discord application:
1} Go to control panel. In that click on Uninstall a program
2} Look for the Discord application and right-click on it. Next, click on Uninstall.
3} Go to the official Discord website and download the latest version of Discord.
4} Double click on the downloaded file and complete the installation process.
5} Launch the Discord application and check if the error is resolved.
