2. In themes, you will see the Actions dropdown button on the right-hand side of your screen.
3. Click on the dropdown menu and select the Edit languages option in the last.
4. Click on the box beside filter and enter powered to search.Now go to the powered by shopify section, you will find a box >>click on the box and >>enter space. After that click on save. This will remove “powered by shopify” from the footer of your website
Method 2:
In this method, we will make changes to the code to remove powered by Shopify from the footer.
Before we start this method I will recommend you take a backup of your code because if you do any mistake or delete any other important code whole website may crash. So, follow the steps carefully
1. Go to your Shopify admin page or dashboard.
2. Click on the online store menu on the left-hand side taskbar. Under online store click on Themes.
3. In the theme section on the right-hand side you will see the current theme and Debut. In Debut click on Actions Dropdown menu and select Edit code
4. A new window will open click on the Sections folder and search for footer.liquid file and password-footer.liquid. Or just click on the search box in the top left-hand side of your screen and enter footer.liquid and click on it to open the file. Similarly open password-footer.liquid file.
5. Now press keyword combination ctrl + F in you are using windows computer and cmd + F if you are using a mac to open the search bar and enter the following text into it “{{ powered_by_link }}“.
6. Delete this text from the both footer.liquid and password-footer.liquid file. You will find it on multiple locations delete all of them and >>click on save
7. You have successfully removed “powered by Shopify” from your footer by editing the code.
How to remove powered by Shopify using mobile devices:
1. Open the Shopify application on your mobile device or download it from your respective app store. To download click here if you are an android user and click here if you use an iOS device
2. Tap on the store in the bottom navigation bar and click on the online store under the Sales channel.
3. Click on Manage theme
4. After that under debut, >>click on dropdown menu Actions and >>tap on Edit languages
5. Tap on the filter translations box and type “powered“
6. Under checkout & system / Links >>tap on the powered by shopify box and type <space>
7. Now scroll up and click on save. It will remove “powered by shopify” from your store.
